These Terms & Conditions govern your use of amaelia.in and any purchase made through it. By browsing this site or placing an order, you agree to the terms set out below. Please read them before you shop with us.

1. About Amaelia

This website is owned and operated by Amaelia, registered at Palm Court, DLF Phase 3, Sector 16, Gurugram, Haryana, India. For any queries related to these terms, write to us at care@amaelia.in.

Throughout this page, “we,” “us” and “Amaelia” refer to the business. “You” refers to anyone browsing the site or placing an order.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or be placing an order under the supervision of a parent or guardian, to shop with us. By placing an order, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you have the right to use the payment method selected at checkout.

3. Products and Availability

Every piece on Amaelia is described and photographed with care, but slight variations in colour, embroidery placement and fabric texture are natural to handcrafted garments and may differ marginally from what you see on screen.

We update stock regularly, but availability is not guaranteed until your order is confirmed. If an item you have ordered goes out of stock before dispatch, we will contact you with the option of a replacement, a size or colour alternative, or store credit.

4. Pricing

All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable GST, unless stated otherwise. Prices may change without prior notice, though any change will not affect an order already confirmed.

Shipping charges, where applicable, are shown separately at checkout before you complete payment.

5. Orders and Payment

An order is confirmed only once payment has been successfully processed and you receive a confirmation email. We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order, including cases of suspected fraud, pricing errors or stock unavailability. In such cases, any amount paid will be refunded to your original payment method.

We accept payments through the gateways listed at checkout. Amaelia does not store your card or banking details; these are handled by our payment partners under their own security protocols.

6. Shipping

Orders are processed and dispatched within the timeline stated on our Shipping Policy page. Delivery estimates are provided in good faith but may vary due to courier delays, weather or circumstances beyond our control.

Risk in the goods passes to you once the order is handed over to our shipping partner.

7. Returns, Exchanges and Refunds

Returns, exchanges and refunds are governed by our separate Refund & Exchange Policy, which forms part of these Terms & Conditions. Please review it before placing an order.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this site — including the Amaelia name, logo, photography, product designs and written copy — belongs to Amaelia and is protected under applicable copyright and trademark law. None of it may be copied, reproduced or used commercially without our written permission.

9. User Conduct

When you use this site, you agree not to:

• Use it for any unlawful purpose or in a way that could damage, disable or impair its functioning
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, accounts or data
• Post or transmit content that is offensive, defamatory or infringes another party’s rights
• Resell products purchased from Amaelia without our written consent

We reserve the right to suspend access to any user found in breach of these conditions.

10. Third-Party Links

Our site may link to third-party platforms, including social media and payment gateways. We are not responsible for the content, policies or practices of those external sites, and your use of them is at your own discretion.

11. Limitation of Liability

Amaelia is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from the use of this site or the purchase of our products, except where such liability cannot be excluded under Indian law. Our total liability in connection with any order is limited to the value of that order.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Amaelia harmless against any claim, loss or expense arising from your breach of these Terms & Conditions or misuse of this site.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from your use of this site or a purchase made through it will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Gurugram, Haryana.

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or in applicable law. The version published on this page at the time of your visit or order governs that visit or order.
